Bios

Elivia Shaw is an award-winning filmmaker from Washington, DC. She is driven by filmmaking that uses intimacy and personal narrative to question our larger social systems and cultural identities. Her work has been featured on The Atlantic and PBS, screened at festivals including AFI DOCS and DOC NYC and has been shortlisted for the student BAFTA awards.
