Description

Ibrahim is tethered to the river, reeds and buffalo he tends, but as the rivers dry and the landscape withers, he faces unrelenting forces threatening the only life he’s ever known.

Bios

Ali Yahya is an Iraqi filmmaker who holds a degree in Psychology. Ali’s academic background fuels his desire to explore the human experience, drawing inspiration from the conflicts and transformations that have shaped his homeland. BENEATH WHICH RIVERS FLOW is his debut film.
