LOCAL ONE

The Amazon Labor Union launches a nationwide strike during peak holiday shopping season. LOCAL ONE takes us into the first days of the strike at two Amazon warehouses in NYC.

Brett Story is an award-winning filmmaker, professor and author based in Toronto whose films have screened at festivals internationally, including SXSW, True/False, Sheffield Doc Fest and CPH-DOX. Brett holds a PhD in geography from the University of Toronto and was both a Sundance Institute and Guggenheim Fellow.

Stephen Maing is a New York City-based, Emmy®-award winning filmmaker whose shorts have been published in Time Magazine, PBS, The Nation, The New York Times, The Intercept and Field of Vision. He is a Sundance Institute and Guggenheim Fellow as well as a recipient of IDA’s inaugural Enterprise Investigative Journalism grant.
