Alaskan sound recordist Hank Lentfer captures the natural world’s forgotten sounds while caring for his mother with dementia. This sensory immersion dissolves the boundaries between us and the more-than-human world.

Taliesin Black-Brown is an Emmy®-winning director whose work has been shown on BBC’s PLANET EARTH, PBS, Vimeo Staff Picks, and in festivals such as DOC NYC and SIFF. His filmmaking career began while flying cameras on drones during his recovery from bone cancer.
